This is a finger-prick test. You will receive a self-testing kit by first class post which will give you full instructions on how to do everything.

Simply put, you will need about 5-6 drops of blood into one small tube which you then post back to our partner laboratory using our pre-paid envelope.

Your results will be emailed to you via our secure portal within a day of receiving your sample at the laboratory. The whole process is usually complete within 2-3 days – although we do have to depend on royal mail.

All results are reviewed and commented on by our NHS registered GPs but please remember that blood tests alone are never a safe substitute for seeing a doctor directly.  While blood tests can be an essential element of investigating your health, diagnosing a medical condition or starting treatment should always be in consultation with a doctor where your symptoms, history and an examination can be performed.
